Praise God for Inspire Women's 2006 luncheon chairs who have accepted their divine appointment to this year's history-making Inspire Women's luncheon on Friday, November 10, 2006 at the River Oaks Country Club! We celebrate God writing your name in His spiritual journal as the ones He hand picked to serve a dream His heart longs for. This year's luncheon chair couples are Bruce and Mary Ann Belin, Marc and Leigh Kohler, David and Alice Peacock and Chuck and Kim Watson; and Bonnie Likover, Inspire Women's Endowment Alliance Chair.

To all Inspire Women supporters and friends, your prayers and support are the reason we are at this point in history. This year's luncheon is a once in a lifetime celebration to protect God's dreams for His daughters in whom He trusts with His mission. Donations from those who attend this year's luncheon will be deposited into an endowment fund to ensure a basic level of funding to train women for God's purpose for generations to come!

Jill Briscoe, Inspire Women's 2006 National Honoree

In addition to our Houston honorees, Barbara Harris Curtis, Cindy Crane Garbs and Julie Jordan, international bible teacher and women's ministry leader, Jill Briscoe will be honored at this year's luncheon as Inspire Women's national spiritual Mom. Her husband, Stuart Briscoe (pictured below with Jill) will deliver the keynote message titled, "Women who change the world."

Stuart and Jill Briscoe are in their seventies. They have chosen to spend the final years of their lives sharing the gospel in third and fourth world countries. As Jill teaches women around the world, her concern was, "Where are the women who are being trained to follow in our footsteps?" Jill blesses the ministry of Inspire Women to ensure the funds to train women for missions and service.

Jill has been a pastor's wife for over thirty years. She has written over 40 books with titles such "Here I am Lord, send somebody else", "How to be up when you're down", "Prayer that works" and "Designing Effective Women's Ministries."

Jill Briscoe is Executive Director of Just Between Us, a magazine of encouragement for ministry wives and women in leadership. She serves on the board of World Relief and Christianity Today, Inc. and teaches on the radio program Telling the Truth with her husband Stuart and her son Pete with a listening audience of over 14 million, reaching the United Kingdom, ten countries in southern Africa, and to numerous countries in the South Pacific and South Asia. This radio program is aired in Houston, Texas daily on KKHT FM 100.7 at 1 p.m.

In God's history making year to ensure the funds for His daughters across ethnicities to be trained for missions and service, Inspire Women selected three women of excellence who believed God's vision for His daughters and have walked in faith with the Inspire Women's ministry from the organization's brith to this year's history making moment.

Please mark your calendar for this year's Inspire Women 2006 luncheon on Friday, November 10th and celebrate God's blessing to our city through women of excellence. In addition to Jill Briscoe Inspire Women's national national honoree, this year's Inspire Women's Year 2006 Houston honorees include: Barbara Harris Curtis, Cindy Crane Garbs and Julie Jordan

Women Serving at Their Potential

Because of Inspire Women's scholarships, women from backgrounds of abuse can build a bridge from their backgrounds into being trained in biblical counseling in order to deliver those who are still living in the suffering they once experienced.

Wives of pastors and women's ministry leaders from churches that do not have the budget for training them now have a place to appeal for funds to be trained for missions and service. Marriages are being saved, third world villages are being reached, community centers are being built as God trains His daughters for maximum missions and service!
